• In 2014, she participated in an extravaganza in Saifai village (Saifai Mahotsava organized by Samajwadi Party) in Uttar Pradesh; at the time when Muzaffarnagar riots took place in Uttar Pradesh. She later apologized for it and said she regretted not being politically aware.

• After appearing in a chat show “Koffee With Karan,” she was trolled for her lack of general awareness and was labeled as “Beauty without Brains.” In another episode, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, she replied Prithviraj Chauhan; when asked who was President of India!

• Also named in the appams of the roast scandal. F.E.R. And in the name of the Arrest Warrant vassal also issued on her.

• She was heavily trolled and criticized for spreading nepotism; after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on 14 June 2020. Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Salman Khan were among the others who also criticized for promoting nepotism in Bollywood.
